GYPSY TANGO© est une œuvre scénique hybride mêlant tango argentin, flamenco, théâtre musical et dramaturgie visuelle. Le projet est actuellement en phase de recherche, de structuration dramaturgique et de développement de son univers scénique.
SYNOPSIS
Dans les années 1940, Manuel Montoya, bailaor flamenco originaire de Málaga, arrive à Buenos Aires à la recherche d'un nouveau destin. Il y découvre le tango au cœur de son âge d'or.
Entre fascination, rupture et transformation, la rencontre entre ces deux langages du corps devient le point de départ d'un voyage entre l'Espagne et l'Argentine, entre mémoire et réinvention, passé et présent.
À travers le dialogue entre flamenco et tango, GYPSY TANGO© explore la manière dont le corps peut devenir un espace de mémoire, d'identité et de transformation.
RECHERCHE ARTISTIQUE
La recherche de GYPSY TANGO© porte sur la rencontre entre le tango argentin et le flamenco, envisagés comme deux langages corporels distincts pouvant entrer en dialogue sans perdre leur identité.
Le projet explore les relations entre corps, musique, costume, espace et image, ainsi que les possibilités d'une dramaturgie visuelle capable de raconter au-delà du langage parlé.

GYPSY TANGO© es una obra escénica híbrida que combina tango argentino, flamenco, teatro musical y dramaturgia visual. El proyecto se encuentra actualmente en fase de investigación, desarrollo dramatúrgico y exploración de su universo escénico.
SINOPSIS
En los años 1940, Manuel Montoya, bailaor flamenco originario de Málaga, llega a Buenos Aires en busca de un nuevo destino. Allí descubre el tango en pleno apogeo de su época dorada.
Entre fascinación, ruptura y transformación, el encuentro entre estos dos lenguajes del cuerpo se convierte en el punto de partida de un viaje entre España y Argentina, entre memoria y reinvención, pasado y presente.
A través del diálogo entre el flamenco y el tango, GYPSY TANGO© explora cómo el cuerpo puede convertirse en un espacio de memoria, identidad y transformación.
INVESTIGACIÓN ARTÍSTICA
La investigación de GYPSY TANGO© se centra en el encuentro entre el tango argentino y el flamenco, concebidos como dos lenguajes corporales distintos capaces de entrar en diálogo sin perder su propia identidad.
El proyecto explora las relaciones entre cuerpo, música, vestuario, espacio e imagen, así como las posibilidades de una dramaturgia visual capaz de narrar más allá del lenguaje hablado.

GYPSY TANGO© is a hybrid stage work combining Argentine tango, flamenco, musical theatre and visual dramaturgy. The project is currently in a phase of research, dramaturgical development and exploration of its stage universe.
SYNOPSIS
Set in the 1940s, Manuel Montoya, a flamenco dancer from Málaga, arrives in Buenos Aires in search of a new destiny. There, he discovers tango at the height of its Golden Age.
Between fascination, rupture and transformation, the encounter between these two languages of the body becomes the starting point for a journey between Spain and Argentina, between memory and reinvention, past and present.
Through the dialogue between flamenco and tango, GYPSY TANGO© explores how the body can become a space of memory, identity and transformation.
ARTISTIC RESEARCH
The research behind GYPSY TANGO© focuses on the encounter between Argentine tango and flamenco, approached as two distinct physical languages capable of entering into dialogue without losing their individual identities.
The project explores the relationships between body, music, costume, space and image, as well as the possibilities of a visual dramaturgy capable of telling a story beyond spoken language.
